We love reading FundRaising Success’s Blast from the Past series. Sometimes the articles remind people about important practices that can be forgotten in the heat of battle, sometimes it enables them to feel good about how far they’ve come and sometimes it motivates them to re-commit to strategic initiatives.
There was one article in particular that stayed with us: “The Not So Great Divide,” because it is at the heart of what we do – help people connect their mission to both the physical and digital lives of their constituents.
So, we were inspired to create an article that builds on the recommendations of the original author – Katya Andresen. It was written by one of our senior, in-house strategists, Miriam Kagan, who has a strong pedigree (Merkle, Convio and Blackbaud) and track record of working with leading nonprofits.
