Robin Vandeveer Joins Kimbia as VP of Account Management and Lori Finch Expands Role as VP of Revenue and Sales Strategy
Austin, Texas (Jan. 24, 2017) – Kimbia, a leading provider of online fundraising solutions and crowdfunding events, would like to announce two new additions to its leadership team.
Kimbia is pleased to announce a more focused effort on account support, with the hiring of a VP of Account Management, Robin Vandeveer. Robin brings a wealth of executive management experience in SaaS organizations and a track record of success in improving customer relationships.
“We knew we needed a heavier focus on customer care to bring Kimbia into our next phase of growth, and we are so excited to have Robin join to take the lead on those efforts,” said Mark Perkins, Kimbia CEO.
Robin is an industry expert with 25 years of software support leadership experience. Prior to joining Kimbia, Robin has held service and support leadership roles with companies like PeopleAdmin and CompassLearning. Robin holds a BA in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University.

The company is also proud to announce Lori Finch’s expanding role leading Kimbia sales and marketing efforts as the VP of Revenue and Sales Strategy.
“Lori is one of our most beloved employees,” said Perkins. “It only made sense to expand her role. Her love and passion for community giving will have such a positive effect on the other parts of our business as well.”
Prior to Kimbia, Lori spent six years at The San Diego Foundation where she served as Director of Nonprofit Programs, developing education resources and tools for more than 250 local nonprofits. She holds an MBA from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and a B.S.B.A in Finance from Georgetown University. In the last five years at Kimbia, she has championed the community giving movement. One of her many achievements includes creating and executing Give Local America, one of the largest single-day giving events online.
“Community Foundations will always have a soft spot in my heart, but I can’t wait to get to work with other charitable organizations as well,” said Finch. “I want to take what I have learned in the Community Giving space and share those strategies to grow giving across all segments.”
